The Alpine Club, the world’s first mountaineering club, was founded in 1857. For over 150 years, members have been at the leading edge of worldwide mountaineering development and exploration.

Tom Livingstone charts a progression from the sea cliffs of the UK, to climbing an 8000 metre mountain in alpine style: a culmination of a 10-year dream.
All are welcome to attend and the talk is free for AC and Eagle Ski Club members and students on production of a valid NUS card. Non-members are asked to make a donation of £5 to the Montane Alpine Club Climbing Fund.
